Abstract

In this study, aimed that analysis of the risk of public and private capital banks in Turkey. The performances of three public and eight private capital deposit banks between 2010 and 2017 were analyzed by CAMEL rating system.A results of the analysis; the value of CAMELS compound is increased by 33% of public banks and 75% of private banks. However, it was found that public banks formed the better performing bank group and that Akbank and Ziraat Bank had the best performance with positive and high CAMELS compound values during all periods.
