Özet

Havacılık, uzay ve savunma sanayisinde girişilen ve gerçekleştirilen çeşitli büyüklüklerdeki projeler gün geçtikçe artmakta ve bu bağlamda tahsis edilen ve kullanılan kaynaklar önemli ölçüde yükseliş göstermektedir. İlgili projelerin kapsam, maliyet ve takvim açılarından başarıya ulaşabilmesinde en önemli bileşenlerden biri şüphesiz iyi proje yönetimi uygulamalarıdır. İyi proje yönetimi uygulamalarının kurgulanması ve uygulanmasında da en önemli aktörler elbette ilgili proje liderleridir. Bu gerçeklerden hareketle, bu araştırmada havacılık, uzay ve savunma sanayisinde proje yönetimi uygulamaları üzerine deneyimli proje liderlerinin görüşleri esas alınarak nitel bir araştırma yürütülmüştür. 58 deneyimli proje lideri ile yarı yapılandırılmış mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda havacılık, uzay ve savunma sanayisinde proje yönetimi uygulamaları bağlamında başarı faktörleri ve iyileşmeye açık yönler kapsamında 23 element belirlenmiş ve tartışılmıştır. Bu sonuçların hem proje yönetimi süreçlerini ve performanslarını iyileştirmek isteyen organizasyonlar için yararlı olabileceği, hem de alan yazında bilgi birikiminin gelişmesine önemli katkı sağlayabileceği değerlendirilmektedir.
